Home Care. There are times when the office gets so busy, employees forget to breathe. The front door revolves, all the phone lines are lit and everyone is attending to needs. Through all this, Tara remains calm and continues to quietly and diligently face each task with a smile. She is the calm during a storm and is greatly appreciated. |

Leacey has been with Addus Healthcare for almost a year, and during this time she has shown patience, compassion and understanding when working with a very difficult client. This client disrespects Leacey on a regular basis in almost every way possible. Through it all, Leacey has remained tenacious. She knows the client’s circumstances and refuses to leave this client, as the client would have no one without Addus! Leacey has been recognized by both the client’s case manager and the CCU. Hillside is proud and happy to have Leacey as part of thier team. This is one special lady! |

Lynda Dexter |
Lynda
Dexter – HCA Republic, WA Home Care. Lynda has been with Addus since May of 2005. In all this time, she’s never once said, “That’s not my job,” or “I can’t do that,” or “That’s a problem.” What she does say is “What can I do to help?” or “Sure, I can do that!” and “No problem, it’s handled!” It seems there’s no scheduling difficulty that can’t be fixed, or problem that can’t be overcome with Lynda on the job. On more than one occasion, Lynda has stepped up to the plate and filled in when another HCA can’t get to work, pulling a double shift without complaint. Her first concern is always for the welfare of the client, not for any inconvenience to herself. Lynda is always ready with a smile and a word of encouragement for anyone who crosses her path. She has been a God-send to her client, and her client’s family. She puts in long hours, and yet still remains upbeat, positive, and an encouragement to others. Words cannot adequately describe her kind and generous spirit, or her steadfast dedicated loyalty to her client. Lynda is a very special person! |

Eugene (Gene) McAdoo –
Registered Nurse, Fairview Heights, IL Home Health.
Eugene is a recent addition to the Addus family, but he has more than proven what a great asset he truly is to the company. Gene literally “hit the ground running” when he first started at the Fairview Heights office. Not only is Gene a great Registered Nurse and co-worker, but he is also a strong leader in his community. He is a retired military nurse, a part time nursing instructor at a local community college, the leader of a Boy Scout troop, a minister at his church, and a father and husband. He is a man with many roles, and yet plays them all with professionalism and courage. Clients have already specifically requested Gene because of his dedication to the care of his patients. His experience and training in combination with his personality and knowledge of nursing make Gene a true compliment to the office’s growing family |
