Ron is always willing to do whatever it takes to help his coworkers. He always has a smile on his face. Ron has helped the Support Center Reimbursement department by creating technical tools that improved our capability to do billing more efficiently. It saved the branches and our department many hours of work. Although Ron may be swamped with all the projects assigned to him, he has volunteered to work to create technical capabilities over a weekend during his vacation time so that we could meet a deadline. Ron never hesitates to help out wherever he can. He is truly a team player and pleasure to work with.

Alberta was selected for her outstanding customer service to a rural client of their office. Alberta went to the clients home to do her normal service.  In a discussion with the client she learned the fact that the client was going to have her driveway re-surfaced.  Alberta said, “I hope you are having the work done by someone you know. The TV has made reports about a group working this area that are scamming people.”  Well it was a scam. The client called the Sheriff Department, they called the bank and a stop payment was placed on the check written to the scammers. 
The client was saved her money, great job by our worker.

Jerry is the epitome of what a Home Care Aide should be. Her caring nature and gentle demeanor have enabled her to build relationships with clients that would not initially accept home care help. She has worked relentlessly to provide the best care for her clients. Her dedication to her client’s is evident in her willingness to change her schedule to suit the client’s needs often on a moment’s notice. Her work ethics have been noticed by not only the office staff and her clients, but by friends and neighbors of the clients. Jerry has had the opportunity to talk with them about home care and the services provided by Addus HealthCare. We are so proud to have Jerry on our team.

Johanna is very caring towards her patients. She goes out of her way to check on them, even during ice storms or heavy rain. If any of her patients need anything, she is the first to be there to help. One of her clients was scheduled to have a hospital procedure. She went to their home at 5:30a.m. to assist them in bathing and preparing for the visit to the hospital. All of her patients give her high praise. She continues to communicate with the case manager or the office on patient issues or problems. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful employee.
