The Milford office is serving three unique clients who are brothers and developmentally disabled adults. Unfortunately their parents have passed and the office has established a unique relationship with these gentlemen. Terry and other employees have made special efforts and have adopted “the guys” as their own adopted family. Terry has been instrumental in organizing and collecting monetary donations and gifts on her own time for “the guys”. She helped coordinate the 30th Anniversary party and the Holiday celebration and invited “the guys” to be the guests of honor. With her help, the client’s lives have been enriched. Thank you Terry for your caring and giving nature.

The Champaign office received a call from client, Mrs. Dawn L, extolling what a wonderful employee Marie Fisher is. Mrs. L stated, “Marie came to my home, made me feel so special. We connected so well. She is caring, giving, patient, amazing, understanding, kind compassionate, honest and trustworthy. We just clicked. She listened to what my needs were at a time when I was very vulnerable. The extra time, love and kindness she showed me made such a difference in my life. Since I am not a millionaire where I could write her a check, I needed to take the time to call and applaud her work. Please reward her in some way.”

Kim has been an employee since January 2001. She is well liked by all her clients and co-workers. She is very dependable and gives good care to all of her clients. One of her current clients has many medical problems resulting in several hospitalizations. Kim has kept the assigned nurses aware of any changes in her condition. She spends time with the family and has arranged her schedule to accommodate her client’s visits to the doctor. Kim has even visited her clients when they were in the hospital or nursing home. She will work with difficult clients when other aides have declined. Because of her excellent care, clients have told their friends resulting in referrals for this office. Her loyalty to the company and work ethic are exceptional. We are lucky to have Kim.

Dan has been a great worker for Addus from the very beginning with us. He has always been flexible with his schedule and can change it with the needs of his clients and the office. He is willing to do anything or go anywhere we ask. He has a pleasant demeanor and gets along with fellow employees, office staff and all his clients. Dan is a great asset to the company.
