Gloria
Harding, Receptionist, Spokane, WA, Home and Community
Services Gloria has been a receptionist for
our office for four years. She consistently provides
great team spirit, warmth, and compassion to all who
work with her. Gloria is usually the first person in the
morning greeting employees with a big upbeat, “Good
Morning”. Her enthusiasm is infectious and creates a
positive attitude in the office and for the field
employees. Callers to the Spokane office are greeted
with a warm, cheery, “It’s a GREAT day at Addus. How may
I help you?” Our callers instantly feel connected to her

Angela Bibow |
Angela
Bibow, PCA, Medford, OR - Home Care & Community,
Medford, OR I wanted to take the time to nominate Angela for being a very dependable employee who is always willing to step up when needed. Angela works in an independent living center where Addus provides services in Roseburg, OR. Without her dedication to her clients and her support, it would be very difficult to manage this facility and market business. It is 100 miles away from the Medford office. Because of Angela’s work ethic and dedication, I feel we have been successful in maintaining and growing our Private Duty census in that area. Thank you Angela, and keep up the good work! |

Nanette Alvarez |
Nanette
Alvarez, Clinical Supervisor, Westchester, IL - Home
Health
“Nan” is an example of an employee who thinks of “Customer First”. In one day she assisted two offices in covering clients that needed care. A supervisor at the Chicago office was off sick and one of her client’s needed to have a Foley catheter procedure administered. All of the Chicago nurses were booked, so Nan stepped up and drove out of her service territory to service the client. That same day, the Olympia Fields office was inundated with SOC’s (Starts of Care) and needed a nurse to perform an SOC for a gunshot victim in a far southern suburb of Chicago. Nan again, stepped up and drove over 60 miles to render wound care to this client. In one day Nan drove over 150 miles to service two clients not assigned to her. Nan’s response was, “These are Addus clients and we are one”. On behalf of the Home Health division, I want to commend her on her hard work and dedication to our team and our clients. |

Stacey Kilgus |
Stacey Kilgus, CNA,
Harrisburg, PA - Home & Community Services
Stacey is one of the best Certified Nursing Aides I have ever worked with. She is conscientious in providing the best care to her clients, always going above and beyond expectations. She happily accepts extra work even if it is a last minute change. She is astute in recognizing client’s health issues and needs, and reporting problems very quickly. She communicates well with all members of our team. They know they can count on her to deliver the best service to our clients. An example of Stacey’s dedication is how she handles her clients, even particular clients with difficult needs. One of her clients was running out of financial resources. She took it upon herself to do the clients laundry, stopped and picked up needed grocery items and spent extra time doing housecleaning tasks on her own time so that this client could continue to stay in her home. Stacey is a rare person who is living and breathing the Addus Beliefs and Values. |
