During her career, Becky has held the positions of home care aide, payroll/billing specialist and service coordinator. Last year Becky was instrumental in passing the Charleston IDOA audit. She worked many hours, sacrificing family and leisure time to ensure the accuracy of the Charleston records. During the time where there was no Agency Director, Becky maintained the day to day operations thus saving the integrity of the branch office. Becky has a special gift working with clients and HCAs. She goes to great lengths to work with the HCAs and clients in need. She steps up whenever there is administrative needs at the office. As the new Agency Director of Charleston, I am very grateful and honored to work aside such a dedicated employee. Thank you Becky for being a member of our team.

It is difficult to put into words the dedication and professionalism that Marshene demonstrates doing her job every day. Here are words from a client’s family that describes Marshene. “I’d like to compliment one of your employees, Marshene Ellis for the excellent service she provided to our family for the past six years taking care of my brother James who passed on March 22, 2010. She took care of James who suffered several strokes and other complications and was wheel chair bound since 2009. She never wavered in her care for him. Such a commitment to exceptional care deserves special commendation. She has become part of our family now. Sandra has been a great employee of Addus and needs to be recognized for National Employee of the Month. She is very dedicated to her clients. She is excellent at client observations and comes in frequently to report any changes she observes. Philander is very dedicated and a loyal employee. She was assigned a client who was very challenging. This client had been in a terrible accident that left her with much pain, suffering and depression. Philander was able to help bring life back to her client. She cleaned my house and put things in order. I have pride in all the things I have because of her. She is more than a homemaker, she is a friend.
