Addus Healthcare, Inc. Names Mark S. Heaney to
President and CEO
Palatine, IL. (May 12, 2008) – Addus HealthCare, Inc. today announced that Mark S. Heaney has been promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer from his previous position as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Addus HealthCare is a nationally recognized leader in the provision of high quality home care services. Heaney will bring to this position 23 years of experience within Addus and close to 30 years of experience within the home care industry.

Addus provides comprehensive home care services including skilled nursing, personal care and adult day care services. Addus HealthCare currently holds over two hundred home care contracts throughout the country. The company employs 11,000 people and provides home care services to over 45,000 individuals annually from 115 offices in 15 states.
Prior to joining Addus in 1985, Heaney worked from Staff Builders, Inc., a 106-office national home health service company. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University of Chicago. Heaney is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association for Home Care, Chairman of the National Private Duty Association of America, is on the Board of Advisors for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and on the Board of Directors for The Management Resource Association, Inc. He has also been selected to serve on multiple taskforces and committees including the Health and Medicine Policy Research Group’s Leadership Taskforce and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Home Health Design Technical Advisory Group.
